Preppy Border Tutorial

- First, define this as a brush. Open the picture that you will be applying the border too. Select the whole picture (CTRL+A) and then go up to Edit>>Stroke. Make the settings match this. After you've done that, copy the picture by hitting CTRL+C on your keyboard.

- Go to Image>>Image Size and find the height & width of the picture. Open up a new blank document and make the height & width 4 pixels bigger than the size of the picture that you're applying the border too.(For example, if the size is 400x533, make the new document 404x537).

- Go to the the gradient tool and make a gradient (top to down) with your color scheme. Then go to your brushes tool and put the brush (that I told you to define earlier) on top of the gradient. Paste the picture that you wanted to add the border too, on top of the checkered gradient. This is how my final result turned out.
